VANITHA SAGO FACTORY was established in the year 1986. The manufacturing plant is located at 4/140, Pottanam village, which is 10 kilometres from Namakkal town, 50 kilometres from Kolli Hills and 50 kilometres from Salem city. The founding members of the factory are late Mr. M.Nainamalai Udayar and Mrs. V.Susila. They had wide knowledge about the industry which is effectively being maintained by their second generation now.

The pride of this factory is that it is the first factory in this very small village. The factory collects enough raw materials from Kolli Hills as it is very close to the factory. VANITHA produces high quality sago at a reasonable cost. It offers employment opportunities to the local community and is the back bone of income for the villagers. VANITHA is a valuable member of the Sago Producers Association (SPA).

VANITHA’s products have well acceptance not only with the local community but also in the markets throughout Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra. The factory has sophisticated and advanced machineries. The factory is planning to supply the product in different packages weighing between 10 to 90 kgs. It also has plans to build a self generating power supply plant. VANITHA’s excellence will continue forever.
